Wire Transfers

A wire transfer is the electronic processing of a payment order received from an originator, to pay a certain amount of money to a beneficiary.

Wire transfers can only be made by clients who have a deposit account with BPPR.

Banco Popular offers the wire transfer service in all its branches for a transmission cost of $25.00 and a commission for outgoing transfers of 1/4 of 1%, $25.00 minimum and $35.00 maximum ($40.00 U.S. Virgin Islands and Tortola) 1.
The disclosed charges apply for transactions in the US or foreign countries.

To process the transfer, you will need to provide us the following information about the bank where the funds will be credited:

  • Bank's name
  • Account Number
  • Bank's Routing Number
  • Bank's address
  • Bank's phone number
