Cancellation of a Transfer (Outgoing)

Cancellation of transfers covered under the Dodd-Frank Act (Regulation E): 

  • Applies only to individual customers sending transfers to foreign banks.
  • Amount greater than $15.
  • Customers may cancel at the branch or TeleBanco within the first 30 minutes after initiating the transfer.
  • The customer may cancel at the branch or through the Claims Department at the number provided with the wire transfer documents.
  • Does not apply to commercial, corporate, or DBA accounts.
